Joe Biden in 1973 (the 1st Arab embargo) voted AGAINST the Alaskan pipeline. That's right! The senate passed the bill 80-5...Big Joe was one of the five! Didn't want to warm the Caribou. D...A...M...N! The pipeline has created 1000's of jobs. It has supplied the US with 20% of it's oil. It's added BILLIONS AND BILLIONS of dollars to our economy and saved us from having to send that same amount to countries that aren't exactly our friends!
