These voters were chosen for their apparent intelligence/verbal abilities and willingness to express their opinions to a large audience. *97.1% of those polled were at least high school graduates, and 55% were college graduates
*57.4% could not identify which party currently controls Congress
*81.8% did not know Joe Biden quit a previous campaign because of plagiarism
82.6% could not say that Barack Obama won his first election by getting opponents kicked off the ballot
88.4% did not know that Obama said his policies would bankrupt the coal industry and make energy rates skyrocket
56.1% could not correctly say that Obama's career started at the home of two former Weather Underground members

HOWEVER,

Only 13.7% failed to identify Sarah Palin and the Republicans as having spent $150,000 on clothes
Only 6.2% failed to know Palin had a pregnant teenage daughter
And 86.9% though Palin said she could see Russia from her house, although that was said by Tina Fey on a Saturday Night Live skit
